On Friday, years 1 and 2 enjoyed their multicultural morning, exploring France and Poland. The children worked well in small groups to complete a range of activities including: flag making, French playground games, Polish cooking and attempting to make the Eiffel Tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows! The children learnt different greetings from around the world and learnt about the French and Polish cultures. It was great to have Gabriella with us for the morning and the children were very lucky to have stories read to them in French and Polish. Patricia said “I loved making the flags because they were different to England and Romania.” Chris enjoyed making the Eiffel Towers because it was tricky and he had to do lots of problem solving. Josh said “I really enjoyed learning the playground games”, hopefully the children to continue to play these games together.
